About
Belridge SESC

Belridge Secondary Education Support Centre aims to provide an exceptional educational program that maximizes learning opportunities to prepare our students as they transition into adulthood beyond school.

Students at Belridge Secondary Education Support Centre are always encouraged to achieve to the very best of their individual abilities and staff constantly encourage student participation, engagement and attendance in aspects of our school life. A rich and diverse curriculum is provided that addresses the academic, social and emotional needs of all of our students.

Belridge Secondary ESC was selected to commence as an Independent Public School within the Westcoast Education Support Cluster in 2011 alongside Joondalup ESC and Beldon ESC as our partner primary Education Support Centres. In 2014 our schools are operating with three separate school boards with a shared priority addressing student transition and community partnerships and collaboration. Our school crest and motto will reflect Belridge Secondary College and consequently Belridge Secondary ESC will continue to support the new motto “Learn, Achieve, Succeed”. The aim of Belridge Secondary Education Support Centre is to encourage all of our students to be life-long learners and to provide them with the best educational opportunities to achieve their individual educational needs, dreams and aspirations.

Belridge Secondary Education Support Centre is guided by the Department of Education Strategic Plan 2016 – 2019 and an ethos has been created that actively promotes and encourages the Department’s culture – “High Performance – High Care” and the stated polices:

  • Success for all students
  • High quality teaching
  • Effective Leadership
  • Strong Governance and Support

These Department of Education priorities are clearly reflected in Belridge Secondary Education Support Centre’s student achievement targets and school improvement focus for 2017 – 2019. This Business plan exists alongside a suite of documents including workforce plans, financial plans and our Delivery and Performance Agreement. This Business Plan will continue to be reviewed during the next three years as a part of the school planning and review cycle and we look forward to working with our partner schools, local community and the Belridge Secondary Education Support Centre School Board to continue to deliver amazing opportunities for our exceptional students.
