This qualification is an entry-level qualification aimed at individuals entering the agriculture, horticulture and conservation and land management industries.

It allows students to develop basic skills and knowledge to prepare for work. They undertake a range of simple tasks under close supervision and assist the lecturer with work activities. The course is conducted using the facilities available at our school. This certificate is predominantly practical (hands on) but theoretical tasks are also a requirement.

The following units are undertaken: Work Safely; Maintain the Workplace; Support Nursery work; Support Gardening work; Support Landscaping work; Support Irrigation work.
